Heat pumps

Efficient heating, all year round

An air-source heat pump replaces your gas boiler with clean, efficient heat and hot water — and there’s a £7,500 government grant to help.

Why choose a heat pump

Lower-carbon heating that’s efficient by design — and honest advice on whether your home is ready.

Efficient heating

Delivers 3–4 units of heat for every unit of electricity — far more efficient than a gas boiler.

Low carbon

No gas burned at home. Greener still when paired with your own solar.

£7,500 grant

The Boiler Upgrade Scheme cuts the upfront cost significantly for eligible homes.

Runs on your solar

Use daytime solar to help power your heating and hot water.

Heat and hot water

One system for radiators, underfloor heating and your hot water cylinder.

Smart controls

Room-by-room scheduling and control from a simple app.

Clean heat, drawn from the air

How it works

Clean heat, drawn from the air

A heat pump extracts warmth from the outside air — even in the cold — and concentrates it to heat your radiators, underfloor heating and hot water. No combustion, no gas.

  • Works down to sub-zero temperatures
  • One system for heating and hot water
  • Efficient at lower flow temperatures
Power your heating with your roof

Better with solar

Power your heating with your roof

Because a heat pump runs on electricity, your solar can help drive it. Generate through the day, store in a battery, and heat your home on your own energy.

  • Use daytime solar for heating
  • Cut running costs further
  • One team for solar, battery and heat pump

Common questions

Will a heat pump keep my home warm?

Yes. A correctly sized and designed system keeps your home comfortable through a British winter. Design is everything — which is why we survey properly before quoting.

Do I need new radiators?

Sometimes a few radiators are upsized so the system can run efficiently at lower temperatures. We identify exactly what’s needed during the survey — no guesswork.

Are they noisy?

Modern units are very quiet — roughly the hum of a fridge from a metre away. We position the outdoor unit to keep it unobtrusive.

Am I eligible for the £7,500 grant?

Most owner-occupied and privately rented homes in England and Wales qualify for the Boiler Upgrade Scheme. We handle the paperwork and apply the grant to your quote.

What will it cost to run?

Running costs depend on your home and tariff, but a well-designed heat pump is efficient — and pairing it with solar and a heat-pump tariff lowers costs further.

How disruptive is the installation?

A typical install takes a few days. We plan it around you, protect your home while we work, and leave everything clean and tested.
