Which charger should I get?
For most homes a 7kW smart charger is ideal — it’s the fastest a standard home supply allows and works with every EV. We’ll recommend the right unit and cable type on your survey.
How much does installation cost?
A standard install is a fixed price with no surprises. The final figure depends on the cable run and any consumer-unit work, which we confirm before booking.
Do I need solar to have a charger?
Not at all. A smart charger saves money on its own with an off-peak tariff. If you do have solar, we can add solar-matched charging to use your own energy.
How long does the install take?
Most installs are done in a few hours by a single visit. We’ll tidy up, test it and show you how the app works before we leave.
Tethered or untethered?
Tethered has a fixed cable — grab and plug in. Untethered has a socket for a cleaner look and any cable. Both are great; it comes down to preference.
Will it work with my tariff?
Yes. Smart chargers integrate with the popular EV tariffs so you automatically charge during the cheapest windows.
